Christopher Decastro Obituary, Death – The passing of Christopher Charles deCastro, a devoted son and brother, occurred on Thursday, April 15, 2021. He was 36 years old. The 9th of December, 1984 saw Chris deCastro being born in Kenner, Louisiana to his parents, George and Julia (Rivera) deCastro. Everyone was aware that Chris has a kind and kind heart. In addition to being altruistic, kind, loving, and true, he was always eager to assist other people.
His kindheartedness and hilarious nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who knew him. He was known for his constant sense of humor and his ability to deliver words of compassion, empathy, and hope; because of his compassion, he was given the moniker Gandhi. Christopher took a lot of pride in his Corvette, which he enjoyed driving very much. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, and playing disk golf whenever he got the opportunity.
He was an amazing son, brother, and friend to everyone he met. Esteban and Aracelis F. deCastro, Carlos Rivera and Norma Diaz, Chris’s grandparents, passed away before him. Chris was named after his grandfather. He is survived by his parents, George and Julia deCastro, his brother, Jorge deCastro, his sisters, Monica deCastro Gover (Jay Gover) and Ashley deCastro, his nieces, Bella and Mia, and his nephew, Blaine, as well as a large number of relatives, aunts, and uncles.
On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 11 AM to 1 PM, there will be a visitation conducted at the Mothe Funeral Home, which is located at 2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey, Louisiana 70058. There will thereafter be a prayer session held in the chapel at one o’clock.
